What do friends do?

1.        Share research, ideas, news and inform our citizens

2.        Appreciate our culture and identity in order to preserve it

3.        Facilitate development of community policy from analysis

4.        Evaluate sustainability (27 standard performance indicators)

5.        Facilitate a watchdog role on government decisions

6.        Facilitate third party actions on behalf of disadvantaged citizens

We meet last Saturday of the month @ Eco Centre Nathan campus Griffith Uni.

 

Additional Special workshops held with international/ guest speakers, and expert witnesses to provide professional development and community eduction on emerging issues. All members are invited to attend - usually invited through the weekly newsletters and monthly research reports which are published electronically.
